Whooo Hoooo!  Burt's Bees listened to our pleas to bring back their toothpaste!  My children love the new berry flavor.  Plus, it now includes Xylitol, which is great for dental health!   Stop by the store to pick up a tube.  They have several different types, including whitening, multicare and kids.  If you never tried it (or wouldn't mind having a travel size version), click here for a free sample!

Manic Monday Meal #3

The weekend is over and it's back to reality! Each Monday we will post a four ingredient or less recipe to help you eat healthy, simply!
Here's this week's recipe:

Chinese Spiced Pork Chops
4 large pork chops about 7 oz each
1 tbsp Chinese five-spice powder
2 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp garlic-infused olive oil

1.  Arrange the pork chops in a single layer in a non-metallic roasating pan or baking dish.
2.  Sprinkle the five-spice powder over the chops then drizzle over the soy sauce and garlic infused oil.  (Alternatively, mix together the garlic-infused olive oil, soy sauce and five-spice powder, and pour over the chops.)
3.  Using your hands, rub the mixture into the meat.  Cover the dish with clear wrap and chill for 2 hours.
4.  Preheat the oven to 325F.  Uncover the dish and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until the pork is cooked through and tender.  Serve immediately.
