Vegan Wednesday! Vegan Smoothies!





Here are a few tried and true vegan smoothie recipes.

Green Goddess Smoothie
1 cup non-dairy Milk
1 peeled Orange
2 c. Kale or Spinach
1 peeled Banana
1 Pear, cut into quarters
1 c. Grapes, red or green

Blend all ingredients until smooth. Makes 5 cups.


Protein Powerhouse smoothie

1/2 cup almond milk

1-1 1/2 cup papaya slices

1 cup strawberries

1/2 of an avocado

1/3 cup silken tofu

2 tbsp of peanut or any nut butter

maple syrup/agave nectar/sweetener of your choice (to taste)

Blend until smooth.


Banana Carob Yum Smoothie

3 frozen chopped bananas

3/4 cup soy/rice/almond milk (your choice)

1 1/2 tbsp. carob powder

1 tbsp. agave nectar

1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

Blend until smooth.
