Getting Started!
So you realize aromatherapy has a myriad of benefits. You are anxious to start blending. But when you stare at all the bottles of essential oil, you start to panic. Where do you begin? While every essential oil has unique properties that are beneficial, there are certain oils that everyone needs.  We are listing our top 5 oils and one essential oil blend that we think
every household should have in their arsenal.

A basic kit: 1) Lavender. This oil is a natural antibiotic, antiseptic, antidepressant and sedative . It is amazing in treatment of burns. It is great for sleepless nights and stressful days. 2) Tea Tree. This oil is a super antiseptic. It is also anti-fungal, anti-biotic and anti-viral. It is used for a wide range of conditions from acne to athlete’s foot. 3) Peppermint. This anti-inflammatory oil helps relieve fatigue and ease headaches. It is also helpful in digestive issues.   4) Eucalyptus. This cooling oil opens clogged nasal passages and is effective against colds. It is antiseptic, antibiotic and antiviral. 5) Grapefruit. This uplifting oil energizes and reduces water retention. It is a great disinfectant, antiseptic and antidepressant.   6) Medieval Mix. During the Dark Ages, physicians and grave robbers alike protected themselves from the Black Death with the aromatic herbs of lavender, thyme and rosemary. Today, this essential oil blend helps provide protection against various viruses in our homes.

Brilliant Massage Oil
4 oz Almond Oil
16 drops Lavender Oil
10 drops Grapefruit Oil
6 drops Orange Oil
2 drops Ylang Ylang Oil
2 drops Cinnamon Oil
Blend all ingredients together. You may use as massage oil, bath oil, or dab a bit on pulse points for immediate relief!

Stress Less Bath Salt
1/2 c. sea salt
40 drops Lavender Oil
20 drops Grapefruit Oil
3 drops Wheat Germ Oil
Blend all together and add a handful to bath.
